GARVELAND

"Polluting car emissions associated with mass tourism can be tackled by using environmentally friendly means of transport, such as electric vehicles. But here we have a small problem: capital cities have charge points for these cars, but what happens when we want to visit a Muslim castle in Andalusia, or a paradise beach in Algarve which is 120 or 200 km from home?. I´ll tell you: you will probably not find a charge point to return home, or a hotel".

ORNITURISMO

"María and Antonio are spending a day in the mountains with their children. They hike and bring a snack from home. At the end of the day they return to the city without having bought even a bottle of water in that nearby little town. They have not even realized that they are surrounded by the largest colony of vultures in southern Europe. What if a small company in that town could revive the local economy by interpreting its natural heritage?".

PROTOTYPING

"Elvira produces 100% organic vegan sausages in Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz), but fails to reach its potential customers. Nelson harvests pine nuts in Almonaster la Real (Huelva), an expensive product but highly valued in Mediterranean cuisine. Its objective is to combine wholesale with gourmet and local distribution. Carlos and Manuel dream of a new craft beer to reach a young audience, but they are still too small and have nowhere to make it. All these SMEs have interesting projects and the same problem: accessing the market in adequate conditions with their scarce resources".
