- The opening of the CoFFEE platform will be on 24/02 at 10:00 CET.
In addition to the 6th call, open until 14/03/2025 at 14:00 hours (CET), the opening of a 7th call for pluriregional strategic importance operations for cross-border cooperation between Spain and Portugal is expected for late February.

To enable the preparation of proposals for the 7th call, some key information is summarised below:
- The subject will be strategic importance operations of a pluriregional nature (projects will cover NUT III from various cooperation areas)
- They will fall under the specific objectives OE 1.1 (Research), OE 2.4 (climate change and risk prevention), OE 4.5 (health, assistance, proximity).
- The applications must have a minimum budget of 4 million euros.
- The call will have a total FEDER aid of 33.6 million euros.
- The deadline for submitting applications is expected to be from late February until mid-April 2025.
- Applications must be submitted exclusively via online through the Interreg (CoFFEE environment). The platform will be open from 24/02/2025 at 14:00 hours (CET).
