The Interreg VI-A Spain-Portugal Territorial Cooperation Programme (POCTEP) has taken an important step in its digital presence by opening an account on Bluesky, the emerging microblogging platform that is gaining popularity as an alternative to other social networks. This move aims to facilitate greater connection and visibility of the cross-border cooperation projects that POCTEP is developing between Spain and Portugal, allowing beneficiaries, institutions, and citizens to closely follow the activities and progress of the programme.
Bluesky, which stands out for its focus on decentralisation and freedom of expression, offers a fresh and direct way to share news, results, and relevant initiatives from POCTEP. The account on this platform joins the programme’s digital communication strategies, which already include other social networks and online tools, such as its profiles on social media X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, Facebook, and a YouTube channel. With this addition, POCTEP reinforces its commitment to transparency, information dissemination, and direct interaction with its target audience, fostering greater citizen involvement in cross-border projects.
