European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation of the Minho River (AECT Rio Minho) is organizing the event “Minho River 2030: new strategy, new shared actions”, which will take place on June 25, at the premises of the School of Business Sciences (ESCE-IPVC), Av. Pinto da Mota, 4930-600 Valença in Valença do Minho, between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM (local time).
The strategy, co-financed by the European Union, was approved by the Interreg Spain-Portugal Programme (POCTEP) 2021–2027, under the project 0011_RIO_MINHO_2030_1_P and the document is available for download at this link.
This event will be a meeting space for representatives of the municipalities and town councils within the AECT territory, with the main objective of presenting the revision of the Minho River 2030 Strategy, recently updated to align with the new European framework 2021–2027. In addition, the 8th POCTEP Programme call will be presented, a key opportunity to promote cross-border cooperation projects in our region.
The session will include a participatory working segment in thematic roundtables, aimed at identifying joint supra-municipal projects based on the five axes of the strategy.
