The Monitoring Committee of the Interreg Spain-Portugal Programme (POCTEP) has approved the terms of the 8th call for projects for the 2021–2027 period. This call aims to support cross-border cooperation initiatives that foster integrated and inclusive local development in non-urban areas, addressing social, economic, environmental, cultural, tourism, and security issues.

The call documents, which outline eligibility criteria, application procedures, and funding requirements, are available for consultation at: https://www.poctep.eu/convocatorias-abiertas-poctep-2021-2027/

The application period will open on 16 June 2025 and remain open until 12 September 2025. Applications must be submitted exclusively through the Interreg platform (CoFFEE environment) by 2:00 p.m. (Spanish mainland time) on the deadline date.

To support project preparation, POCTEP provides a range of guidance materials, including manuals, templates, and indicator guides. These resources are designed to help applicants prepare strong project proposals aligned with the programme’s goals: https://www.poctep.eu/convocatorias-abiertas-poctep-2021-2027/

Interested entities are strongly encouraged to carefully review the terms and use the available support materials to ensure a successful project submission.
