Un año más, ¡el POCTEP vuelve a estar entre los premiados del Interreg Slam! Tras enviar su candidatura sobre la historia del Programa y los proyectos POCTEP, el programa fue uno de los premiados en la final que se celebró en en Interreg Annual Event de Santiago de Compostela, el 26/10/23.
Dicha historia tuvo el tema “habilidades/capacidades” por ser el 2023 el European Year of Skills y destacó 3 de los proyectos POCTEP 2014-2020, quedando en 2º lugar por detrás del programa Interreg IPA Croatia-Serbia. Por su parte, el tercer premio fue para el programa Interreg Italy-Austria y el premio especial de la Comisión Europea fue para el programa Interreg SUDOE. El concurso tuvo varias fases: la primera fue la elaboración de un vídeo por parte del programa Interact, y su posterior concurso en el “voto del público” en redes sociales; la segunda, una presentación en vivo en el Interreg Annual Event que este año, con la presidencia española de la UE, se celebró en Santiago de Compostela. El POCTEP quiere agradecer a todas aquellas personas que nos dieron su voto y con ello ayudaron a que el Programa quedase en segundo lugar.
El Interreg Slam es la manera más dinámica y entretenida de conseguir visibilidad para los proyectos y programas Interreg. El POCTEP tiene ya una historia de éxito en este concurso: en 2020, POCTEP fue el programa que envió el mayor número de candidaturas, logrando 3 finalistas y una mención especial. En 2021, POCTEP ganó el 3er premio gracias a las historias reales de 5 proyectos y en 2022, POCTEP se llevó de nuevo el 3er premio con una performance en vivo en Bruselas.
‘Public vote’
Hasta el 15/10/23, el POCTEP compitió en la fase del “public vote”, obteniendo más de 700 votos y quedando en segundo lugar. El Programa estuvo en cabeza durante casi todo el periodo de votaciones, pero en la víspera del cierre, el Programa Interreg Croacia-Serbia logró una espectacular remontada de última hora, logrando hacerse con el primer puesto ¡FELICIDADES!

Sobre los 3 proyectos destacados
Es la tercera vez que el POCTEP llega a la final del Interreg Slam y cada año ha destacado 3 o 4 proyectos, dependiendo de la temática de cada edición. En 2023 se han elegido 3 como ejemplos ilustrativos y fruto de un proceso guiado por el programa Interact. Dichos proyectos son:
- REHABIND – Revitalización y rehabilitación sostenible de áreas industriales transfronterizas interconectadas y eficientes
Área de cooperación: Castilla y León-Norte de Portugal. Entidad beneficiaria principal: Instituto de la construccion de Castilla y León (ICCL)
- EUROACE SPORT – Deporte y Naturaleza en la EUROACE
Área de cooperación: Alentejo/Centro/Extremadura. Entidad beneficiaria principal: Extremadura Avante.
- INBEC – Bio-economía circular. Impulso y desarrollo de una economía sostenible a través de la innovación y la cooperación empresarial
Área de cooperación: plurirregional (Centro / Norte de Portugal – Castilla y León). Instituto para la competitividad empresarial de Castilla yLeón.

We are excited to announce that the Interreg Slam 2023 contest is now open for submissions!
This is an incredible opportunity for Interreg projects to participate in a highly successful communication campaign that has garnered over a million views in recent years. The competition offers not only the chance for projects to gain valuable exposure but also the possibility of winning a fantastic prize: attendance at the prestigious Interreg Annual Event in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, in October this year.
POCTEP Programme and projects have a sucessful story when it comes to the Slam: in 2020, POCTEP was the Programme with the highest number of submitted projects. On 2021, POCTEP won the 3rd price thanks to this real-life story and on 2022, POCTEP was 3rd again, awarded on Brussels.

Our favourite performance contest – the Interreg Slam, is back!
It is open to all Interreg projects & programmes. The thematic focus this year is the European Year of Skills. So if you have a relevant project with an interesting and engaging story, worth being advertised, the Interreg Slam is for you. We want to help you promote your projects’ achievements by launching our improved live performance contest.
The Interreg Slam contest offers:
- The possibility to win the production of a professional promo video, showcasing your project’s story;
- To receive coaching by a top level expert in Storytelling;
- To win a trip to Santiago de Compostela, Spain, in October and take apart in the Interreg Annual event;
- To make live performance on a key European stage and to meet the best experts from the European Commission and the Programme bodies of Interreg;
- To benefit from Interact´s publicity and visibility behind the Interreg Annual event.

To help you prepare your stories, we provide 2 training courses in May 2023 involving an expert storyteller. The workshops focus on:
- the main novelties and features of the Interreg Slam 2023;
- the rules for application and contest;
- training and tips from the external expert.
Applications must be submitted by using our Application form, following the Instructions of its completion and the Slam Rules. All documents are published with this announcement.
