Mais um ano, o POCTEP está mais uma vez entre os vencedores do Interreg Slam! Após submeter a sua candidatura sobre a história do Programa e dos projetos POCTEP, o programa foi um dos vencedores na final que se realizou no Evento Anual do Interreg em Santiago de Compostela, no dia 26/10/23.
Esta história teve como tema “competências/capacidades”, visto que 2023 é o Ano Europeu das Competências e destacou 3 dos projetos POCTEP 2014-2020, ficando em 2º lugar, atrás do programa Interreg IPA Croácia-Sérvia. No entanto, o terceiro prémio foi para o programa Interreg Itália-Áustria e o prémio especial da Comissão Europeia foi para o programa Interreg SUDOE.
Os vídeos das 5 atuações estão disponíveis no canal de YouTube do Interreg.
O concurso teve várias fases: a primeira foi a criação de um vídeo pelo programa Interact, e a sua posterior contestação na “votação do público” nas redes sociais; a segunda, uma apresentação ao vivo no Evento Anual Interreg que este ano, com a presidência espanhola da UE, se realizou em Santiago de Compostela. O POCTEP quer agradecer a todas as pessoas que nos deram o seu voto e que assim ajudaram o Programa a ficar em segundo lugar.
Sobre o Interreg Slam
O Interreg Slam é a forma mais dinâmica e divertida de ganhar visibilidade para os projetos e programas Interreg. O nosso Programa já tem um histórico de sucesso neste concurso: em 2020, o POCTEP foi o programa que enviou o maior número de candidaturas, conseguindo 3 finalistas e uma menção especial. Em 2021, o POCTEP ganhou o 3º prémio graças às histórias reais de 5 projetos e em 2022, o POCTEP conquistou novamente o 3º prémio com uma performance ao vivo em Bruxelas.
Até 15/10/23, o POCTEP concorreu na fase de “votação pública”, obtendo mais de 700 votos e ficando em segundo lugar. O Programa esteve na liderança durante quase todo o período de votação, mas na véspera do encerramento, o Programa Interreg Croácia-Sérvia conseguiu um regresso espectacular no último minuto, conseguindo ficar em primeiro lugar. Sobre os 3 projetos destacados
É a terceira vez que o POCTEP chega à final do Interreg Slam e cada ano tem destacado 3 ou 4 projetos, dependendo do tema de cada edição. Em 2023, foram escolhidos 3 como exemplos ilustrativos e resultado de um processo orientado pelo programa Interact. Esses projetos são:
- REHABIND – Revitalização e reabilitação sustentáveis de zonas industriais transfronteiriças interligadas e eficientes
Área de cooperação: Castilla y León-Norte de Portugal. Principal entidade beneficiária: Instituto de Construção de Castilla y León (ICCL)
- EUROACE SPORT – Deporte e Natureza na EUROACE
Área de cooperação: Alentejo/Centro/Extremadura. Entidad beneficiaria principal: Extremadura Avante.
- INBEC – Bioeconomia circular. Promoção e desenvolvimento de uma economia sustentável através da inovação e da cooperação empresarial
Área de cooperação: plurirregional (Centro / Norte de Portugal – Castilla y León). Instituto para la competitividad empresarial de Castilla yLeón.

We are excited to announce that the Interreg Slam 2023 contest is now open for submissions!
This is an incredible opportunity for Interreg projects to participate in a highly successful communication campaign that has garnered over a million views in recent years. The competition offers not only the chance for projects to gain valuable exposure but also the possibility of winning a fantastic prize: attendance at the prestigious Interreg Annual Event in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, in October this year.
POCTEP Programme and projects have a sucessful story when it comes to the Slam: in 2020, POCTEP was the Programme with the highest number of submitted projects. On 2021, POCTEP won the 3rd price thanks to this real-life story and on 2022, POCTEP was 3rd again, awarded on Brussels.

Our favourite performance contest – the Interreg Slam, is back!
It is open to all Interreg projects & programmes. The thematic focus this year is the European Year of Skills. So if you have a relevant project with an interesting and engaging story, worth being advertised, the Interreg Slam is for you. We want to help you promote your projects’ achievements by launching our improved live performance contest.
The Interreg Slam contest offers:
- The possibility to win the production of a professional promo video, showcasing your project’s story;
- To receive coaching by a top level expert in Storytelling;
- To win a trip to Santiago de Compostela, Spain, in October and take apart in the Interreg Annual event;
- To make live performance on a key European stage and to meet the best experts from the European Commission and the Programme bodies of Interreg;
- To benefit from Interact´s publicity and visibility behind the Interreg Annual event.

To help you prepare your stories, we provide 2 training courses in May 2023 involving an expert storyteller. The workshops focus on:
- the main novelties and features of the Interreg Slam 2023;
- the rules for application and contest;
- training and tips from the external expert.
Applications must be submitted by using our Application form, following the Instructions of its completion and the Slam Rules. All documents are published with this announcement.
