On 25 November, the RAIA Final Conference will take place in Ayamonte, in the Eurocity of the Guadiana. This event will be a key moment to present the final results of the project and will also feature the participation of six other POCTEP projects working on related themes. Altogether, the event represents an excellent opportunity to boost capitalisation and the exchange of knowledge in the agri-food innovation sector.

The project aims to create a network in the Alentejo–Algarve–Andalusia region that equips public administrations, civil society organisations, businesses, and the general public with the necessary tools to boost agricultural innovation in rural areas, transforming the cross-border territory of La Raya into a region with new business opportunities and strengthened capacity to face emerging challenges.
Innovation is considered a driving force for rural development that provides competitive advantages, making it one of the key features of the future network.
The overall objective of the project is to improve the institutional capacity of public authorities (municipalities, provincial councils, public agencies, etc.) in the La Raya area to implement a cross-border plan aimed at jointly promoting agri-food innovation and rural development.
