Objetivos
The cooperation area between Spain and Portugal faces a common problem: the lack of quality jobs, exacerbated, among other causes, by population decline. SILVER JOBS promotes job creation in the sociosanitary sector, specifically aimed at the growing senior or «Silver» population, becoming a key tool to energize the labor market in this cooperation area. At the same time, it addresses the need to ensure access to sociosanitary care for this group.
Thus, the project’s innovative approach focuses on creating quality jobs that not only respond to the need for decent work but also help improve social cohesion levels—the degree to which members of a society feel connected, integrated, and supported by one another.
The project is structured around four main activities:
1.- «SILVER JOBS» Social Infrastructure. Creation of a social cohesion ecosystem that contributes to increasing the creation of quality jobs.
2.- Training in sociosanitary services and applied technology.
2.1.- Specialized training in providing sociosanitary services, which will contribute to creating a critical mass of trained individuals according to the demand for specific job positions related to the delivery of sociosanitary services.
2.2.- Training in the use of technological solutions that contribute to improving the effectiveness of the services provided by sociosanitary professionals in municipalities.
2.3.- Training for the population (aged 55 and over) in the use of new technologies, specifically those that will allow them to access sociosanitary services digitally.
3.- Development of support technological solutions, technological tools that contribute to improving the effectiveness of services provided by sociosanitary professionals in municipalities.
4.- Validation of adopted solutions, an activity that involves validating the training provided related to job creation and the use of support technological solutions through a pilot validation test to be implemented in preselected localities/municipalities.
